Updates......

attended my first in-service (IS) training after the new roster took place at the beginning of the month, the new 8 days roster was a bit confusing which needs some time for us to get used to..... anyway today IS was about branding of CAAS, what we perceive to others after the corporatisation.... after tat was a briefing on Optimum Profile Descent (OPD) followed by a visit to Airport Emergency Station (AES), my 3rd time there since i join CAAS =), fortunately also managed to get my new airport pass today after a few unsuccessful attempt due to the super long queue due to the mass renewal exercise currently going on....

sat was spent with rach hunting for our sofa, dining table & her louis ghost chairs =p...... 1st stop was to the various furniture warehouse showrooms & IFC @ sungei kadut -> enterprise one @ Eunos -> Lush @ Kim Keat -> Furniture Mall @ Beach Road before making our way down to Mayer @ GWC to pay the deposit for our merchandise we decided on.... a few more items to add onto our purchased item list in the next few weeks to come..... counting down to the 13th of dec where Pinnacle will be ready =)

Wedding Dinner @ Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa......

It had been around 4 months since rach & i married, here is the last part on our wedding trilogy on the 20th June held @ Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa, rach & i decided to break the norm of having traditional wedding cuisine, instead we opt for a buffet dinner for our specially invited guests (70 to be exact) for our special day, we also decorated the whole place.... we want our wedding to be a special, heart-warming & a memorable one which people will always rem in time to come..... lots of photos to share below.....

Updates.....

Confirming our ID, meeting up with elayne, wawa & gang, attending CL & YL solemnisation & shopping for house stuff brought rach & me all around singapore for the week.... places include (GWC, PS, Expo, Suntec, Millenia Walk, Labrador Park, Macpherson etc), though tiring but we enjoyed ourselves =), photos we took for the week.......

BBQ @ RiverGate......

we had a fun-filled night yesterday as uncles, aunties & cousins (not in full force though) gathered around @ RiverGate for a BBQ session..... it was for us to gather around & enjoyed ourselves & also for 1st bro & da sao's house warming event =), the younger boys (our generation) were responsible for starting the fire & cooking for the rest, while the older boys were chit chatting, enjoying their beer/wine...... for the ladies, they just need to sit back & relax waiting for us to serve them =)

M'sia Trip Part 2......

after waking up early in the morning of our 4th day, it was time for us to drive back to KL as we wanted to reach there early in the afternoon so that we got time to shop, after saying goodbye to wawa n gang, rach & me were on the way again...... din took us long to reach KL as we hit the expressway & at times hit our top speed of up to 180km/hr =p, our hotel was Dorsett Regency, a nice hotel with full amentities, facilities & shopping malls within walking distance, it was a very worthwhile stay...... photos that we took as below.

after another day of shopping, rach & i went to Times Square in search for Krispy Kreme, the doughnuts that people crave for so much, we both agreed that it was really good after trying it.....

on our last day in KL, we had our lunch @ overseas restaurant （海外天）as it was highly recommended by 1st bro after checking out, ordered some of their signature dishes & it certainly does not disappoint.... after which we parked the car over at rach's hse in KL for toysei before leaving for the airport for our flight back.

i love their onion chicken & their signature tofu......

truly enjoyed the 6 days we spent in m'sia, hereby to extend my appreciation to toysei & dominic for the trouble & effort that they have put in for us =)

M'sia Trip Part 1.......

Came back from our m'sia fly/drive trip, rach & i flew to KL on 1st Oct in the morning, toysei was there to pick us up @ the airport, kudos to him for driving down to pass us the car which will serve as our transport for our 6 days there...... had our lunch & walk around sunway pyramid together before rach & i kickoff our road trip..... lots of photos to share as shown below.

this conclude the 1st part of our m'sia trip, enjoyed ourselves very much during the 3 days we spent in malacca, with all the makan, crazy photo takings, jokes & not to forget the game Bingo! counting down to the next outing with the rest of them & stay tune to the 2nd part of our m'sia trip when we spent the rest of the 3 days in KL =)

Moving into Rivergate.....

bro & sis-in-law moves into Rivergate officially yesterday..... went over in the afternoon after my morn duty, had our lunch prepared by mum, sis-in-law's mum & auntie hong, the food was so good that i had three big plates of beehoon with curry, roasted meat, char siew, vegetables etc..... 2nd bro, warren & eve also arrived shortly after & we went down for a swim..... some of the photos taken yesterday......

Letter For Pinnacle......

received the letter from HDB today informing of the updates on Pinnacle, the completion date is still on schedule within Dec 2009 =), some of the info given are residents will be issued access cards to access the 2 skybridges which are the jogging track & sky garden on the 26th & 50th storey respectively.... the former can only be accessed by residents while the latter will be opened up to the public too but for a fee which it did not state..... cctv will also be installed on the 2 skybridges for security reasons.... rach & i are counting down to the collection of keys =)

have also 80% decided on our I.D for the renovation of our future home......

will be gng over to Rivergate after my morn duty as bro will be moving in officially tml, need to go back changi again during the evening for my nite duty..... hope everyone will have a enjoyable weekend with F1 in town =)

Long Weekend Updates......

spend the juz ended long weekend with my wife & family which we had loads of fun =)...... went down bro's place on saturday to help move some stuff over to his new place, after which rach & i proceed to Park Hotel Clarke Quay for our yet another staycations for the year.....

it was just walking distance from bro's place to Park Hotel @ Clarke Quay which rach & i spend our afternoon lazing around, doing research for our hse.....during the night we took the enriching river taxi that explains on the history of the singapore river while cruising along it.

Trip to Tebrau City.....

rach & i drove over to JB again during my off day, we went to Tebrau City, one of the biggest mall in JB, reached the place around noon without any hassle as it is situated just around 10+ km away from the checkpoint..... lunch was our favourite Nando's Chicken where we nv fail to have it whenever we were in m'sia.... after tat was some shopping & some reading @ Harris before our dinner at this restaurant serving herbal dishes which each dish had its own unique medicinal benefits...... ordered a 干贝粥, 鲍鱼面线，海中宝, 燕窝 & 龙眼海底椰.... the food was very good & cost us only around 80RM.....
